As the Safety & Security Manager, you are the guardian of our guests, team members, and property. Your mission is to uphold Hilton’s global safety standards while fostering a secure, welcoming environment at our Weerawila resort.

Your Responsibilities

You will lead all security and fire prevention initiatives, ensuring the hotel remains a safe haven through the following actions:

• Policy Implementation: Supervise and enforce Hilton International Safety, Security, and Fire Prevention regulations across all departments.

• Asset Protection: Safeguard the hotel property and the personal belongings of both guests and staff.

• Proactive Surveillance: Organize daily patrols and security checks; identify and eliminate potential fire or accident hazards immediately.

• Emergency Readiness: Develop emergency protocols, conduct regular drills, and lead on-site rescue efforts during incidents.

• Training & Development: Provide essential safety training to all team members and advanced specialized training for Security Officers.

• Liaison & Investigation: Maintain strong relationships with the Fire Control Bureau and local authorities (PSB) to assist in investigations and VIP security planning.

• Compliance: Ensure all reporting deadlines are met and that every team member understands the hotel’s emergency policies.

What We Are Looking For

We are seeking a disciplined leader who balances technical expertise with a commitment to hospitality. The ideal candidate will have:

• Education: A college degree or equivalent professional qualification.

• Experience: At least 5 years of hotel security management experience and a total of 10 years in the security and fire control fields.

• Regulatory Expertise: In-depth knowledge of government safety regulations and technical safety rules.

• Leadership Skills: Proven ability to train diverse teams and manage labor-related operational challenges.

• Communication: Proficiency in English to meet business and reporting needs.
